Kansai Spring 2011: Day 1

寒かった! We were informed upon arrival that the temperature was at 4C. It would've been bearable.. if not for the strong winds that blew all day long >.< And sorry to disappoint, we didn't come back with super powers or extra limbs.. Normal radiation levels there!

Accomodation was at Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka, right next to Osaka City Air Terminal (OCAT) with Namba Walk, Life supermarket and Namba subway station just a stone's throw away! Real convenient.

Headed to our first stop once we left our barang barang at the hotel: ONE PIECE DOME TOUR ♥ You can tell how much the Japanese love ONE PIECE when the queue is long enough to surround the dome's premises..

I miss Ace.. :(

Exhausted from the long queues and night air flight, we skipped 日本橋 and bought (lotsa) food from 道頓堀 back to the hotel for dinner!

The staff can flip takoyaki at lightning speed. Aunties in Singapore take their own sweet time instead.

P.S. Our hotel room smelled of crab the next day. The cleaning auntie must be furious, LOL!
